Admin Health for Jira, by Factorant. Last changed: 2 November 2026.
The short version: the app reads your Jira's configuration, stores its results inside your own Atlassian site, sends none of your Jira data to us or anyone else, and deletes its scan results after 30 days.
What the app reads
- Your Jira's configuration: fields and their contexts, screens, schemes, workflows, spaces (projects), boards, filters, components and releases.
- Who holds what: the Atlassian account ids of space leads, component leads, filter owners and people named in permission, notification and issue security schemes, and whether each still has Jira access.
- It does not read the content of your work items, comments or attachments.
What it stores, and where
- Its scan results, in Atlassian's storage for the app inside your Atlassian site. Nothing is stored on servers of ours; we have none.
- The only personal data is Atlassian account ids (no names, no email addresses). Names are looked up from Jira when you open a page, and not stored.
- Its scan data expires 30 days after it was written, and Atlassian deletes it within two days after that. A mark you set on an Access finding is kept for a year. Four small records hold no personal data and stay until you uninstall: which scan is current and which was last complete (an id each), and this month's storage use (numbers).
- When you uninstall the app, Atlassian deletes its stored data under Atlassian's own retention rules.
What leaves your site
- None of your Jira data goes to us or to anyone else. The app has no connection to any outside server.
- Atlassian shares the app's technical logs with us, unless your site admin turns that off in Atlassian Administration. Our log lines hold only error codes, counts and timings, never names or content from your site.
Who can use it
Only Jira administrators can open the app. A space admin can open one page for their own space. Every request asks Jira first whether the person is allowed.
