What the app cannot see

Automation rules, workflows (for fields), request forms and other apps that name a field. A field used only there looks unused.
Filters, boards and spaces Jira does not show the app. Some it can count and name; others, such as private filters, it cannot know about.
SLA goals and calendars, customer permissions, email channels and approval steps. Atlassian gives apps no way to read them.

So treat "unused" or "no known use" as a lead to check, not a verdict.

Removing the app

Uninstall it from Jira settings, Apps. Atlassian then deletes the app's stored data under its own rules; see Privacy.
